This is a 1963 V.W. Bus, an iconic figure on the roads in the 1960's. I drove one of these up and down the coast on many surf trips, from San Diego To Santa Barbara and beyond. I brings back fond memories of the good old days.
About William Reed
I'm an animation artist trained in the traditional hand drawn style of cartooning. I've been in the animation industry since 1966 when I got a job at the Disney Studios and was lucky enough to work on "The Jungle Book" and the first "Winney The Pooh And The Blustery Day". Since then I've worked on hundreds of TV cartoon shows for Hanna-Barbera, Filmation (He-Man, The Archies, Star Trek and others), MGM (Pink Panther), Universal Studios (Earthworm Jim) and The Cartoon Network (Cow And Chicken and I.M.Weasel) and many more.
